Our Services

Acupuncturist Service

Acupuncturists use a system of medicine based on 3000 year old traditional Chinese Medical practice informed by new western medical principles and research supporting efficacy. Points on the body are stimulated with fine needles or non-needle modalities (cupping, laser, moxibustion) for the purposes of balancing “qi” meridian energy flow thus promoting healing of the mind, body or spirit. Acupuncture was developed with an underlying philosophy of treating symptoms and rebalancing the body before problems become severe. Our acupuncturist provides one-on-one service to treat your pain, musculoskeletal, digestive, respiratory, emotional, and gynecological conditions. Oncology Acupuncture is also offered

Physiotherapist Service

Physiotherapists use their knowledge of the body and how to assess it for treating pain, and for getting you moving and functioning better.  Our physiotherapist provides one-on-one assessment and treatment. After the assessment, a program that may include exercise, education, acupuncture, soft tissue/manual therapy, and craniosacral or chikly brain techniques is developed to meet your movement and functional goals.

Herbal Consultation

Traditional Chinese Medicine uses herbs, food, and diet changes to treat symptoms and support health and wellbeing. The Traditional Chinese Medicine herbal consultation offers dietary and herbal medicine recommendations..

Craniosacral Therapy

Craniosacral Therapy is a light touch manual therapy that works with the body’s self-correcting mechanisms to affect multiple structural and physiological systems in attaining greater health and well being. As the name implies, it involves mobilizing tissues within the cranium and the sacrum. It is an approach that releases tensions deep in the  whole body to help reduce pain, relieve dysfunction and improve whole-body health and performance. It is practiced by healthcare professionals including physiotherapists and acupuncturists. At Attuned Acupuncture and Physiotherapy it is an adjunct therapy supplementing either physiotherapist or acupuncturist services.
